Our goal is to lead Klöckner & Co successfully and sustainably into the future as an innovative company with a clear customer focus. In doing so, we are aware of our responsibility for the environment, the public, for our employees and our shareholders.

Continuous economic and social change, in an agile market environment characterized by digital and ecological transformation, are the challenges we face.

This requires a few core values that guide our decisions and actions:

  • Sustainability and Safety, as well as
  • People Empowerment.

These core values include Compliance, i.e., that we adhere to laws, internal regulations, self-imposed voluntary commitments, and ethical principles, in particular Respect and Appreciation. Without exception. Illegal and unethical conduct is not acceptable - always and everywhere in the world!

Our Code of Conduct and the Declaration of Principles on respect for Human Rights and corresponding Environmental Standards guide us to set the right course even under troubled weather conditions. This requires a determined attitude of integrity, especially from our managers but also from each individual employee.

It is important to me that you all understand that our Code of Conduct and the Human Rights Declaration are not just a means to avoid penalties and fines. Rather, it is important that all of us are convinced of its fundamental ethical values and principles and that we all behave accordingly.
