NEW HEAD OF INVESTOR RELATIONS AT KLÖCKNER & CO

Dr. Thilo Theilen will become head of Investor Relations at Klöckner & Co SE on December 1, 2008. He will succeed Claudia Nickolaus, who set up the department following the company’s IPO in the summer of 2006 and has directed it since then. Claudia Nickolaus will leave the company on September 30, 2008. During the interim, CFO Gisbert Rühl will assume direct leadership of the department. Currently, Thilo Theilen works with a well-known German telecommunications corporation, where he is a senior expert for investor relations. He initially was responsible for private investors, and later worked with institutional investors and analysts.
